Climbing Redpoint Adapter Supports Apple Apple Watch Ultra
IT House reported on September 23 that the popular climbing app Redpoint has been updated for the Apple Apple Watch Ultra, incorporating action button support into all climbing disciplines. Redpoint is also optimized for the larger screen of the Apple Watch Ultra. As a fitness tracker for bouldering and climbing, Redpoint uses the barometric pressure sensor in your Apple Watch or iPhone to track climbing routes and altitude, generating an automatic climbing log. IT House has learned that the app comes with full Apple HealthKit integration, so all climbing activities help to fill the activity circle, and the app supports various levels for bouldering, top rope climbing, sports Climbing, trad, via ferrata, deep water solo (psicobloc) and machine climbing. For Apple Watch Ultra, Redpoint features that are automatically assigned to Difficulty include starting a new climbing workout, recording the difficulty of the route, and the type of scale for recording the route, allowing climbers to interact with the watch screen without getting climbing chalk on the watch. Redpoint is a free app available on the App Store, but supports in-app subscriptions. Monthly ($4.99), three-month ($10.99), and one-year ($29.99) Redpoint Pro subscription plans are available via in-app purchase. Users can also purchase the Ultimate Unlocked IAP for $139.99. On Friday, Apple launched the new Apple Watch Ultra, a larger, more advanced smartwatch aimed at athletes, explorers, swimmers and extreme sports enthusiasts. The Apple Watch Ultra, priced at 6299 yuan, has a silver titanium case and offers three different straps, including a trail loop, an alpine loop, and an ocean strap.
